Needlework – Orfanotrofie

Orfanotrofie is Needlework‘s second studio album, released in 2017. Its name is a wordplay between the Italian words “orfanotrofio”/”orphanage” and “trofie”, a type of Italian pasta.

The name concept and cover design are meant to be a parody of one of the most famous promotional campaigns for Italian super-market chain Esselunga. The campaign was conceived and developed by Armando Testa Group, the biggest advertising agency in Italy.
